Coach's Corner Junior Varsity

Boys, great game. This was a tough battle. We got behind early but really worked hard and kept at it for the win. We finished the season 6-4 which is awesome. (including pre-season) We, as coaches could not be more proud of how all of you have worked this year. It has been our pleasure to coach such a great group of boys. Those of you moving up we wish you the best, those returning we can't wait! It has been a great season.

This was a tough game, I know we are better than the way we played. Everyone seemed a little out of sync. It happens. Keep your heads up, remember it is only a game. Try not to let winning be the priority, go out give your best and have fun. Lets practice hard this week and have some fun and finish the season very strong.

Boys the score does not matter, I hope you all had a great time playing under the lights, on a beautiful turf field. It was a great game. You will remember playing there for a long time. It has been a great season.

Boys this was a great game, we executed extremely well in all areas of the game. We finished the season 4-3 which is great, missed the playoffs by a game but overall it has been a great season!

Boys this was a tough game, alot of hard hitting going on. They were big and tough. Overall I think we held our own and did are best to compete. Thats all we ask as coaches, is that you give your best each time you are out there. You also need to make sure you are having fun as well.

This was a tough loss, we as coaches did not prepare you well enough during the week for this game. I think we are much better then the way we played Saturday. Hopefully we will have a good week of practice and finish the regular season with a big win. Keep your heads up and remember most important is that you are having fun!

Boys this was a great game to coach. Its absolutely amazing to watch how well we have improved week after week. You guys really came ready to play, you didn't let the weather bother you at all. Great Job on both sides of the ball. Thats 3 wins in a row, lets keep this train rolling along. Enjoy the win! You all have worked extremely hard this year. See you all on Tuesday.

Boys this was a tough game. They had some big boys. We are very proud of the effort you gave, you never gave up. We will continue to drill so we can continue to improve each week. We need to continue to work on tackling with our bodies and not just are arms. We have some drills we will do this week to try and work on that. Keep your heads up, you are still Champions! WOW! By far our best performance. Boys what was nice to see is you really played as a team on Saturday. Both sides of the ball played extremely hard the entire game. The offense moved the ball well, the line was absolutely awesome. Defensively you attacked the runners and kept them from getting any momentum. Great job boys, enjoy the win but we need to focus on our next opponent on Tuesday. See you then.

Boys this was a great game. You battled all day. The stop for the extra point was awesome and the whole sideline erupted. Great Job! Defense you guys played great, you were really being aggresive and attacking the runners, not letting them come to you. Lets keep the momentum going. O Line, wow you guys really played hard and executed well. Backs you ran hard all day and it paisd off. Great Job to all!

Congrats on our first win of the season. Boys you really deserved this one. Defense you attacked all day. Everyone did a fantastic job, you should all be proud of yourselves. Offensive Line, you guys executed very well. It was awesome to watch the video and see everyone do their job well. Running backs, you followed your blocks and were patient. Great Job Boys! Lets keep the momentum going right into next week.

Boys GREAT GAME everyone played so well. Offensively you were really doing a great job blocking and following your assignments. Running backs were following blocks and picking up nice runs. Defensively you were attacking the ball carrier, taking on blocks and making nice tackles. You should all be extremely Proud of the way you played. Great Job!

Boys unfortunately the score does not reflect the way you played. Everyone came to the game pumped up and ready to play. I had a chance to watch the video and offensively we moved the ball well. A few miss haps stopped some drives and some coaching mistakes but overall you guys were doing a great job blocking and opening up holes. You played much better than the score reflects.Keep your heads up and lets keep improving each week. Defensively, WOW, we are just improving each and every week. The intensity was there, you came to play and it showed. The mistakes we made were coaching mistakes we will fix them this week so you are even more prepared for next game. Be very PROUD of the way you played.

Boys, Great Game, You guys played awesome. The Goal line stand on defense was incredible! Offense, we moved the ball well and had some nice drives. Everyone of you worked hard in practice and it showed on Sunday. Lets keep working hard in practice and continue to improve. Once again Great Job!

Crusaders 7 - OLMC - 26

Boys, do not look at the score, look at the positives. You guys never gave up and kept giving 100%. As coaches that is all we ask for from you. We will review and prepare for next week. This game is history and can not be changed but we will learn from the mistakes (we made coaching) and continue to get better. We have watched the film and know the areas we need to do a better job of teaching and drilling. Keep your heads held high, making mistakes is part of life, learning from them will only make us stronger as a team. See you on Tuesday Night.

Boys overall not a bad performance. Defensively we saw alot of positives, we will continue to improve each week. We will continue to work on tackling, and wrapping. Great Job! Offensively was good, we just need to get as many reps in practice as we can and work on our blocking assignments. Overall for a pre-season game we thought you all gave a 100%

Pre-season vs. St. Williams

We were very happy with both offense and defense. Defensively you guys put out a very dominating performance. Offensively we are improving every week. The teams in our division will be tough so we need to continue to work hard in practice each week. One game at a time and we will reach the playoffs. Great job boys!

Scrimmage vs. OLV
WOW! What a difference another week of practice can make. We saw many positive signs of improvement on both sides of the ball. Offensively we executed much better. Defensively we were much more aggressive and the tackling was better. As coaches we saw some opportunities for us to do a better job of teaching and will work on them this upcoming week. Great job boys we are improving every week!

First Scrimmage 2009
We as coaches were extremely happy with the scrimmage. We were impressed with everyone as far as remembering blocking rules and the plays. On defense they all played hard, new their resposibilities and executed pretty well. The more repitition we go through at practice the easier and better we will execute. Boys you should be proud of your first scrimmage as a TEAM.
